We’ll help them with micro-finance, be an adviser if the business start-up is
good or bad, and monitor their business to meet the specific needs of the
community.
PKHA Small business opportunities goal:
Our goal is to help the Cambodian people not with one off
donations or assistance but to change people’s lives forever. By providing this
assistance to the community it allows them the opportunity to make a living and
to meet one of PKHA’s main strategies: “To increase productivity and
incomes of the rural poor”
How PKHA Small business programs work:
1. Sponsors and donors the opportunity to help these people’s dreams come true.
2. PKHA to develop micro-finance programs where, the people in the Cambodian
community can apply for finance and assistance.
3. We promote their business ideas through our website, and sponsor and donors
can select who they want to provide assistance to, to lend a hand to help start
up their business.
4. The applicants will need to create a CV and present their idea to PKHA with
a financial plan of how they will use the money to operate the business.
5. PKHA will monitor their progress and update how the business is running, to
ensure the money donated will be use to make a small business and not for
personal use. Many people have great ideas to creating a small business and
many people can survive from making a few dollars a day, so why not lend these
people a hand and watch their lives transform into something amazing.
